Deb Bloom's Top Ten

10. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
I had to include this, for the geek in me.
9. Snatch
quirky movie, thoroughly enjoyable, needed subtitles for Brad Pitt at times, but I made it through.
8. Shrek
Loved it! Pure fun.
7. The Others
An enjoyable psychological thiller, much more effective than all the blood and gore. You didnt' know where the story was going until the very end. I held on to my boyfriend with a deathgrip for most of the movie. Nicole Kidman is my new favorite actress.
6. Enemy At the Gates
Jude Law. Ed Harris. Stalingrad. I like a war movie that is gritty and tells a little bit of history.
5. The Royal Tenenbaums
At times during this movie you feel bad laughing because you feel such pity for the family. It only lasts a few seconds, but it is there. Very dark, very light, I loved it.
4. The Dish
Again, history from a different perspective. Truly a great movie.
3. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
I'll jump on that band wagon. I just loved seeing the characters and places from the books brought to life.
2. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
Absolutely a feast for the eyes. I loved the Hobbit, but couldn't make it through this book. The movie told a great story, made you love the characters, and it got me to pick up the book and make it through this time.
1. Moulin Rouge
Freedom, Beauty, Truth, and Love. Nuff said.
