Post Mortems
- Ice Cream Social –
Came in under budget, had about 60 people there on a rainy
afternoon. The jumpy castle has outlived their usefulness.
We’ll find something else for next year. Try and get root
beer floats next year, homemade ice cream was popular, note
about dry ice – get it on a Friday. Also – try to find a
date that doesn’t have the all ships/all clubs picnic.
- Stardust premiere –
Went really well, handed out all tickets but one. There were
a handful of no-shows. It was a bit of a boon for us and we
had new people sign up for our mailing list. Jodie will send
PR person a thank-you note.
Events
- GOT - Renfest?
- Casino Royale Spy Night
- October 13th. Spy night budget is $1,000.00. 7PM to 12AM.
Dave will lookup cost for poker chips. Check with Shirtz.
Doorman. James bond movies.
- Cinema Rex Movie Night/

384 people at raptor center at CONvergence for both. 15 at
library.

Club Reports
- MISFITS announcement
list - Was 67 people, now 151 members
- Book/Movie (40
members) - New list of movies has been decided, some
discussion around moving club location, but it’s staying at
George and Sarah’s for now.
- Geeks Read (56
members) - Picnic was the night of the ice cream social. No
further information about it.
- Geek Physique (14
members)
- Gaming (23 members)
- In July, they met at CONvergence, and in August they met
somewhere in Columbia Heights. The September meeting will
probably be at The Source.
- Crafty Geek (53
members) - Meeting happened at Roseville Public Library.
Crafty geek is now on the third Sunday of the month.
Other
- Plan a “Get Involved”
meeting... for late Sept. at a coffee shop. Maybe Gingko’s?
To Do
- Jodie will send thank you
note to PR lady for Stardust preview tickets.
- Peter will remind club
heads about sending status reports to Matt.
- Jodie will email Erica to
see when the next Crafty Geek meeting is. And dave rust.
- Matt email all regents to
remind them about next week’s meeting.
- Thomas will send Q2 and Q3
Project Giving stuff out.

before Matt contacts Ish again.

Casino
- Dave contact shirts for
chips, mugs, jackets.
- Matt will bring PS2 or PS3
and projector and run james bond games. Maybe bring iMac and
run Golden Eye. Projector screen in office.
