2010 Board of Directors Positions Up for Election

The MISFITS positions up for election in January of 2010 are listed below - alphabetical by position title and then by candidate.

MISFITS Directors

Events and Programs Director:
Oversees all MISFITS programs and events such as Team Trivia Challenge, Scavenger Hunt, Geek Prom, Cinema Rex Movie Nights, as well as the MISFITS annual picnic and ice cream social. Also oversees the MISFITS Project Lighthouse, Space Camp Scholarship, and the Writing Contest programs. Is active in soliciting new events or programs for MISFITS to sponsor and coordinates staffing needs for all programs and events.

Candidates: David Benhart

Finance Director:
Responsible for corporate insurance, year round budgeting, and balancing the yearly accounts. Primarily responsible for tax and state filing and documenting for our 501(c)3 (not-for-profit) status. Actively seeks out internal auditing to assure the accuracy of both MISFITS and CONvergence accounting. Provides support and backup for the CONvergence Finance Director.

Candidates: Ann Roubik

Web & Print Publications Director:
Responsible for developing and maintaining the MISFITS web site. Responsible for MISFITS print material and signage such as flyers, postcards, bookmarks, the Writing Contest Booklet, etc. Oversees the management of all the club and organization Google Groups. Works with the CONvergence Publications Director to provide MISFITS information for emails, PRs and convention materials.
