GOT Edutainment (familiarly known as "Geeks on the Town") is suffering from cabin fever and anxious to get out and enjoy the spring! We're looking for members and ideas!

If you'd like to be on the mailing list (no obligation to buy!), simply email us at edutainment@misfit.org and let us know. Even better, if you have some happening event, some local curiosity, some long forlorn civic treasure to share - email and let us know!

Star Wars Exhibit at the Science Museum
MISFITS is organizing a trip the see Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination at the Minnesota Science Museum on Sunday, August 17, 2008. We are targeting an early afternoon time, approximately 1:00 pm depending on availability of the Science Museum. We need at least 15 people to attend to receive these reduced group rates.

Ticket Information
Tickets are $19/adult and $16.50/child which includes the regular Science Museum exhibits, the special Star Wars touring exhibit and the Omnitheater movie Special Effects.

You can reserve your tickets by sending a check to:

Or by talking to any MISFITS Coordinator (Dave Benhart, Jodie Gustafson, Elliot James, Thomas Keeley, Matt Savelkoul, or Peter Verrant) at the MISFITS Picnic on June 14th at Cherokee Park
in St. Paul or at the MISFITS Room Party during CONvergence, July 3-6.

Please include your name, phone number, email address and how many tickets you'd like. We will take orders through July 12th, one week after CONvergence. After that we have to give our final numbers to the Science Museum and be sending out details on picking up your tickets.
